"Gopur Minashi" is an exquisite oleograph by the Indian master Raja Ravi Varma, shows the Goddess Meenakshi, an Avatar of the Goddess Parvati, standing under the towering gopuram, which is a monumental gatehouse tower, usually ornate, at the entrance of a Hindu temple, in the Dravidian architecture of the states of Southern India. Intrigued by the popularility of lithographic printing in the European countries, Ravi Varma first started a press in Mumbai and later shifted it to a place near Lonavala. Through the press, he published tons of oleographs, depicting Hindu gods and goddesses.About the Framed Prints
