"A Windy Day at the Column" By Jean Béraud is his very famous painting. This painting of about 1880–81 depicts the Pont des Arts, a footbridge spanning the Seine between the Institut de France and the Cour Carrée of the Louvre. Béraud positioned himself on the Quai du Louvre; the cupola of the Institut is visible in the background.
