"Behar The Dancing Horse" by William Tayler is from a collection of 18 paintings of Indian subjects by him dating from around 1842–45. In this watercolor, painted in Bihar (called Behar by Tayler), he depicted a richly caparisoned horse and his rider with a drawn scimitar. The painting is part of the Anne S.K. Brown Military Collection at the Brown University Library.
