About Blaze
It was a wild day in the Sierras. A day which went from a bright sunny morning to a gloomy and smoky afternoon soon followed by a triple storm front throwing down lightning bolts. But what followed after that was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever had the privilege of witnessing. I ended up at Tuolumne Meadows in the Yosemite region. We were treated to an epic burn in the sky that lasted a full 2 hours from start to finish offering up various colors in the sky. As I was running around shooting various compositions I spotted this area near the river where these interesting looking bushes formed a lovely pattern on the ground. I knew immediately that they formed some of the most interesting foregrounds I'd seen on land. With the warm evening glow on them and the burning sky, I got down to work!About the Art Prints
