Portrait of a fashionable young woman peering over the side of a boat, by American-born artist Edward Cucuel, painted circa 1900-1910. Cucuel lived in Germany between 1899 and 1939, and became a member of the Munich Secession. He left Germany at the outbreak of World War II and spent the remainder of his life in Pasadena, California.
