About L'Eglise de Moret
The bottom placed skyline leaves a large area in the sky whose azure animates a pearly pink cloud. Despite the spontaneity of this vision, we also find in this table the architectural rigor and depth research so characteristic of all compositions of the painter. The city of Paris has acquired the work from his exhibition in 1896 at the Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts.
