"Gifts of the Ebb Tide II" is a masterpiece made on woodblock print with ink and color on paper from the Edo period by the Japanese printmaker/painter Kitagawa Utamaro. Who was one of the greatest artists of pictures of the floating world movement. This painting is from a book which depicts that there is a fire in the field and the woman is warned to leave the place in haste. Although she believes her abductor to be in the field with her, according to the text he has already fled and left her behind. Utamaro experimented with line, colour, and printing techniques to bring out subtle differences in the features, expressions, and backdrops of subjects from a wide variety of class and background.
