"Rose Bushes Under The Trees" is a beautiful landscape painting that Gustav Klimt painted during the summer holidays of 1905 when he stayed in Litzlberg. The lush, green canvas is dotted with specks of floral color in the style of a decorative mosaic.In 2021, France committed to return the painting, which currently hangs in the Musée d’Orsay, to the heirs of its previous Viennese owner Nora Stiasny, who sold it under duress during the Nazi era.
