"Untitled, 1969" by the famous Indian Modernist Tyeb Mehta, is a valuable Indian paintings which was sold at Rs 35,000,000 in an auction in 2005. The key features of this series were the compositions created around a diagonal line that ran through the canvas and the figures, which seemed to adopt different forms on either side. Mr. Mehta’s style of painting sets him apart from India’s revered group of Modernist painters. His paintings stand out for his use of colors, in clear-cut segments, which create deconstructed, and sometimes disturbing, figurative representations of bulls and gods.
